BASIL KING AND MARTHA KING AT NAROPA THIS SUMMER!
Basil King and Martha King will be special guests at the Naropa Summer Writing Program June 15 - 21, where they will read from their works and show and discuss the documentary movie "Fully Awake: Black Mountain College." Basil will participate on the opening panel on the "lineages" Naropa celebrates: From the Beats to Black Mountain, from San Francisco Renaissance to Black Arts and Umbra, from New York School to Language Poetry - by presenting his paper, "Hans Holbein the Younger Comes to Black Mountain."
Basil's new chapbook "In the Field Where Daffodils Grow" from Libellum is nicely reviewed in the current issue of EVERGREEN.
